Title I
What is Title I?
Title I is a program funded by the federal government to improve students' academic achievement. Title I funds are used to expand and supplement the services children already receive in the classroom. Administration, teachers and parents decide how to use these funds. The amount provided for each school depends on the number of low-income families enrolled in the school.
How can I, as a parent, help?
There are many ways parents can be involved in their child's education. Parents are encouraged to participate on our School Advisory Council (SAC). This group meets several time a year to determine how Title I funds will be used for the school year.

Out of Field Teachers
Dear Parents/Guardians:
All educators in Florida are monitored to ensure they meet certification and training requirements as mandated by law. Per ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015) established new requirements for teachers to be considered "in field." Not all teachers have met these new requirements and this notice is to keep you informed regarding the status of your child's teacher(s).
All of our teachers are certified to teach, although some of them are currently out-of-field and are working on additional areas of certification. You have the right to know the professional qualifications of the teachers or paraprofessionals who instruct your child. Federal law allows you to ask for certain information about your child's teachers and requires us to give you this information in a timely manner if you ask for it. If you would like more information , please contact the school.
